Support Begins
Your child begins working one-on-one with a qualified instructor through personalized, targeted support.
Mathematics
Our mathematics support is designed to complement your homeschool journey and meet your child exactly where they are. We place a strong emphasis on building foundational math skills, including number sense, math facts, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning, before moving into more advanced concepts.
Using the Singapore Math approach alongside individualized instruction, we help students develop a deep understanding of how and why math works-not simply memorize procedures.
Whether your child is strengthening foundational skills or working through advanced coursework, our support is personalized to their individual needs and learning goals.
English Language Arts
Our English Language Arts support is designed to strengthen the essential skills homeschool students need to become confident, capable readers and writers. We begin with the foundations through explicit phonics instruction, including phonograms, common endings, and English rules, giving students the tools to understand how words work, decode unfamiliar words, and approach reading with confidence.
Using classic literature, students build reading fluency, apply the phonics and English rules they have learned, and develop strong reading comprehension skills. As students progress, we continue to strengthen their vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and overall ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Study Skills
At Pacioretty Academic Support Services, we understand that academic success depends on more than just subject knowledge. Strong executive functioning skills-the ability to plan, organize, manage time, stay focused, remember information, and follow through on tasks-are essential for helping students become confident and independent learners.
Our study skills support focuses on teaching students practical, lifelong strategies they can use throughout their education and beyond. Students learn how to take effective notes, annotate and actively engage with what they are reading, ask thoughtful questions, break down assignments, manage their responsibilities, and create realistic study plans. We also help students develop effective habits for staying organized, planning ahead, and keeping up with the demands of daily life.
By teaching students how to stay organized and on top of their responsibilities, we show them that being prepared and planning ahead can actually make life easier in the long run. Our goal is to help students build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to take ownership of their learning-skills they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.
